A passion for travel

We are a family of three from Portland, Maine in the United States. After many shorter trips in North and Central America and Europe, we decided to take the plunge and travel the world for a year. We took sabbaticals, rented our house, sold our car, and found a temporary home for our beloved cat, Sirius Black. We’re now off on a year-long backpacking adventure to far flung places filled with hiking, biking, diving, eating, and exploring.
